Lisa K. DeMers, OD

Lisa K. DeMers, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Lisa DeMers is a native of Somerset County, Pennsylvania. She graduated valedictorian from Meyersdale Area High School in 1986 and received her bachelors degree in Biology from Pennsylvania State University in 1990. Dr. Lisa received her doctorate in 1994, graduating with honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She moved to the York area in 1994 and joined the private practice of Dr. Cruse. While in optometry school, she received a reward for her excellence in the contact lens field. She continues her strong interest in contact lenses in her practice. Dr. Lisa enjoys challenging contact lens patients and finds it very rewarding to see her patients smile after being successfully fit with contacts.

Courtney M. Smyser, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Smyser received her optometry degree with honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1999. She completed her internships at Einstein Medical Center and the Pediatric and Low Vision units at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. She also completed rotations at Kilmore Eye Associates in Mechanicsburg and Morrison Associates in Harrisburg. Dr. Smyser is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. 
Dr. Smyser has been practicing in York County since 1999 and recently joined Hunter’s Hill Eyecare Center in January 2021.  She is a Spring Grove native and graduated from Spring Grove Area High School and Shippensburg University with high honors. She resides in York County with her husband and two children.

Matthew C Smith, OD

Matthew C. Smith, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Matthew Smith is a York County native and is a graduate of Dallastown Area High School. He completed his undergraduate work at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Matt received his O.D. degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia where he trained in pediatrics, low vision, contact lens, and ocular therapeutics. His training also included externships in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Havre de Grace, MD. during which he received clinical honors in his pediatric, low vision and ocular disease rotations. Dr. Matt has particular interests in the area of ocular pathology.

Jessica Kaminsky, OD

Jessica A. Kaminsky, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Jessica Kaminsky grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. She graduated valedictorian from The Christian Academy. Dr. Kaminsky attended The University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown for her undergraduate studies and The New England College of Optometry for her graduate studies. In 2016 Dr. Kaminsky was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society and remains active in the society to this day. While attending The New England College of Optometry, Dr. Kaminsky was awarded the Fradkin Memorial Scholarship, Rosa Memorial Scholarship, and The Beider Moral Obligation Scholarship. She also received the COVID Vision Therapy Excellence Award. While attending graduate school, she completed internships in pediatrics, ocular disease, vision therapy, and low vision. In 2019 Dr. Kaminsky has a distinct interest in ocular disease and is dedicated to providing her patients the highest level of care. Dr. Kaminsky enjoys spending time with her son and husband outside of work.
